At the 2007 Summer Nationals, Davis Tarwater shot off the blocks to an early lead in the 200m butterfly. He was just a half second off his Club Wolverine teammate's world record pace at the 100 mark. He held on to finish first in a personal-best 1:53.03, down from 1:56.58.
