Two golds and a silver. Not a bad start for Matt Grevers at his first major international competition, the 2008 Olympics. That’s where he earned a silver medal behind Aaron Peirsol in the 100m backstroke, and he won two gold medals swimming in the 400m freestyle and 400m medley relays. Matt and his medley relay teammates, including Ben Wildman-Tobriner, broke the world record in the preliminary heat.
